You need an iPhone with Ollet installed and set up with a supported passport. Getting started covers setup.
What the result tells you
The demo displays the name from your passport after Ollet verifies your identity. Identity documents and face images are processed on the phone; the demo receives your approved name and the verification result.
In a company workflow, the organization matches the verified identity to its employee or candidate record before allowing the action. This helps confirm that the person on the other end is the expected employee, reducing the risk of an impersonator or automated agent proceeding with credentials alone. The demo illustrates the identity check; it does not connect to an employee directory or grant access.
Where to put the verification button
Account recovery
Place the button before completing a password reset, restoring access, or replacing an authenticator. Match the verified person to the employee whose account is being recovered. The recovery process can then require evidence of that employee's identity before it changes their access.
Remote hiring
Place the button before issuing company credentials. Match the verified identity to the candidate record, and repeat the check at first-day access when needed. This helps the employer confirm that the person receiving access is the person it intends to hire.
AI agent approvals
Place the button at the human approval step, before an agent executes a sensitive action such as releasing a payment or deploying a change. Verify the responsible employee, then have your application check their authority and record their approval for that action. An active session or an agent's API key alone is insufficient to complete this step.
Add the check to your workflow
Use the Okta integration for supported account management actions. For hiring and approvals in your own application, follow the custom integration guide.
