About Ollet

Product

Use Ollet through the iPhone app, an Okta integration, or a verification flow in your own application.

Ollet provides identity verification at the point an organization needs to confirm a person. It combines checks performed on the user's device with a result that the requesting service can verify and apply to its own workflow.

The Ollet app

The iPhone app reads a supported identity credential during setup and stores verified identity data locally. When a service requests verification, the user opens a QR code or link in Ollet, reviews the request, and completes a live face check against the credential's portrait.

The app generates a cryptographic proof and shares the identity details requested by the service and approved by the user. Identity documents and face images remain on the device. See Getting started for requirements and setup.

Okta integration

An administrator can configure Ollet as an identity verification provider in Okta Identity Engine. Okta invokes it through an account management policy for actions such as authenticator enrollment, password reset, and account unlock.

Ollet checks the person's identity against the attributes supplied from their Okta profile. Okta receives the verification outcome and determines whether the requested account action can continue. Configuration uses the Okta Admin Console; the Okta guide covers each step.

Custom integrations

For workflows in your own application, Ollet provides an SDK for the browser and your backend; the custom integration guide covers each step.

  1. Request verification. Your service identifies the action, the expected person, and the identity details it needs to check.
  2. Present a QR code or link. The person reviews and completes the request in the Ollet app.
  3. Verify the response. Your backend uses the configured verification service or libraries to validate the response for that request.
  4. Decide whether to continue. Your application matches the verified identity to its records, checks authorization, and records the outcome before performing the action.

An unsuccessful, cancelled, or expired verification leaves the protected action pending or denied, according to your policy. Your application provides the appropriate retry or alternative process.

Responsibilities and results

Ollet supplies the app's credential checks, liveness detection, face matching, and cryptographic verification capabilities. Depending on the integration, your service receives an identity match outcome or the approved attributes needed to make that comparison.

Your organization maintains the employee or customer record, determines which actions require verification, and decides whether a verified person has permission to proceed. It also controls its account system, audit records, and any alternative verification process. Existing sign-in methods, including MFA and passkeys, continue to serve everyday access.

Request integration access

Email info@ollet.id with your company name, technical contact, intended workflow, application platforms, and whether you need a sandbox, production, or both.

Ollet and your team configure credentials, keys, environment URLs, requested attributes, session lifetime, and response handling for the deployment. Integration materials are provided for the supported configuration.
